Fundraising

Here are some examples of our current fundraising  opportunities, if interested in helping with any of these events please reach out to the event chair for more information.

BOX TOPS

Committee Chair: Staci Bohling
When you shop for groceries, you may have noticed some products have Box Tops for Education labels on them. We collect these labels and turn them back in to get funds for the school. The easiest way to submit your Box Tops is by downloading the app, setting up your account, and scanning your receipts. The Box Tops will automatically be pulled from any participating items.

SCRIP

Committee Chair: Laurie Seidel
Do you ever buy gift cards? If so, we have the perfect fundraiser opportunity for you. You can purchase gift cards through our Scrip program and earn money for the school. Scrip offers both regular and e-cards from a variety of businesses. More details will be sent out on how you can order gift cards. You can also visit https://www.shopwithscrip.com for more information.

COKE REWARDS

Committee Chair: Laurie Seidel
Coca Cola gives back to schools through their Coke Rewards program. Bottle tops have reward codes printed on them. You can enter these codes directly to their website or you can send in with your student and we will enter them for you.

TERRACYCLE

Committee Chair: Melissa Harris
Entenmann’s offers a rewards program through wrapper collection. If you purchase the Entenmann’s Little Bites muffins, you can send your empty packages to school. We collect them throughout the year and will submit them for a rebate based on weight. The more empty wrappers we collect, the more money we raise!

SPIRIT WEAR

Committee Chair: Brian Bersch
We will be offering Rockfield families various items to show their school spirit. Items will be available to purchase online. Details to follow.

MUM SALE

Committee Chair: Kristen Yu
The PTA teams up with Groth’s Country Gardens to provide Rockfield families and friends with the opportunity to purchase mums. Mums come in various colors and are very large. Volunteer opportunities include unloading mums back at Rockfield School (or designated location), sorting mums into purchase orders, and delivering mums to families who have requested this service.

PAW SALE

Committee Chair: Gregg Melby

Once a month we offer a school store where students can purchase fun prizes during their lunch/recess hour. We will need volunteers to help run the store.

BOOK FAIR

Committee Chair: Amanda Thompson
A book fair is held for one week in the fall and one week in the spring. We use Scholastic as our book vendor. Communication will be sent out closer to the scheduled dates with information on how students and families can purchase items. Proceeds from the book fair help teachers purchase books and other teaching tools for their classrooms.

ROCKTOBER

Committee Chair: PTA Board
There is lots of fun to be had at Rocktober, our fall family carnival. There’s something for everyone including sand art, face painting, a haunted room, inflatables, cake walk, games and more. This year we will welcome Cousin’s Subs food truck to provide food for the event. Full event details will be sent out. Many volunteers will be needed for this event. Please contact us if you’re interested in volunteering in any way!

STEP IT UP

Committee Chair: Lindsey Snopek

We will be working with Step It Up to offer a very exciting fundraiser. Students will be able to raise funds to earn incentive rewards. All students will get to participate in the Awesome Party that Step It Up provides. Activities include bounce houses, prize drawings, and a dance party. Volunteers will be needed to help during the Awesome Party.

RESTAURANT NIGHT

Committee Chair: Kevin Harris
We work with local restaurants to raise funds for Rockfield. Each month, a different restaurant will donate a portion of their proceeds back to Rockfield. Families are encouraged to order from the designated restaurant during the time and date provided. This fundraiser is a great way to support our local community while also raising funds for our school.
